Baraka on Barak

Entitled: "Obama '08—Act Like We Know"

http://www.nathanielturner.com/barakaactlikeweknow.htm

This really deserves some introduction -- i know its so true that the sixtys are past us that the activists don't fill the street spouting poetry through their limbs in a manner of expression and exploitation of a system failed to them... i really get this and so Baraka is the standing man to account that this actually happened.. pple be so disorganized these days.. words don't carry the same damn meanin.. harder to get a rise.. a raise.. a rise... not so suprising and totally fragmented bording on schitzo... still baraka... he attests to the times... the activism brought forth by poets of the past and he's got some things to spout out his flower hole:

first: private monies and lobbying -- "the less we do the less we can expect Barak Obama to respond to us" and Baraka attests that yes, money does speak the loudest but that ain't shit cause Obama dowin' the big monie fronts at the heart of Capitalist shenanigans!

second: capitalist shenanigans! Obama is changing the U.S. political structure -- he ain't gonna let even his best of pple standing by him to represent if they got tax fraud -- like OBama said - there aren't two laws: one for priority people and one for the common people

i'll stop numbering now -- i just wanna point out that Baraka is tellin it how it is - he's got a political voice and i don't think he'll ever stop puttin it to use -- isn't this the direction we want to take - -is he someone we can draw from to come together?

I will make a statement about the generation much supported by the lazy american too large culturation: there is a whole hell of a lot of talkin and not so much action : baraka is telling us this is what haunts our movment - the error -- the talking about the revolution and the balking

he empowers the blacks and i appreciate that esp. now that we got a black man runnin things and i'd like to see some black pple stepping up cause we sure as hell ready for their flava -- he spouts on that our earlier black leaders are delusions -- they be like a "negro is a bow to the civil rights movement" -- he supports Obama in the same way he supported lincoln-- his former incarnation
